INJURY PREVENTION EDUCATIONAL DISCUSSION FORUM
Kings Soccer Academy (KSA) announced Friday that it will host the first of many soccer specific educational discussion forums at Town & Country Sports Complex (in Wilder, KY). The KSA has partnered with Commonwealth Orthopaedics and Competitor’s Edge to bring these discussion forums to fruition. Featured presenters will be Dr. Bilbo of Commonwealth Orthopaedics, Paul Bodenbach of Competitors Edge and Jeremy Hardin, Fitness Director for Town & Country Health Club.
The first forum will focus on Injury Prevention and will be held on Tuesday, October 21 and Wednesday, October 22 from 6-7:30pm in the multipurpose room 2nd floor. The same material will be covered both nights with a 40 minute discussion by our featured presenters followed by a Q&A session. (Future educational discussion topics will be “Game Day Fuel” and “Age Appropriate Training”.)
“This is an event that can have a profound positive effect on our young athletes,” General Manager, JT Roberts said. “Unfortunately we are seeing more and more injuries these days. KSA wants to take a pro-active approach in educating while hopefully reducing injuries with our athletes.”
The Injury Prevention discussion forum will start promptly at 6pm in the multipurpose room at Town & Country. All KSA parents and KSA players 14 or older are encouraged to attend. For questions about the discussion forum, please contact JT Roberts at
