KSA Staff Continues to Improve
Kings Add 10 New Staff Members

Kings Soccer Academy News Release 

KSA already offers the most qualified staff in the Tri-State and we are please to announce the following trainers and coaches are joining our program for the 2009 spring season.
 
Josh Hess:
Josh will be taking over our U12 Boys Head Coaching position. Joss comes to KSA after coaching the last several years in college for both the men’s and women’s program at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS. Joss currently holds a USSF B license, an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a USSF National Youth License. Joss plans on taking his USSF A license in 2009.
 
Scott Suter:
Scott will be taking over our U15 Girls Head Coaching position for the upcoming 2009 Spring season. Scott is currently working on his masters in Education at Xavier University. Scott holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, a USSF National Youth License, and a NSCAA RegionalGoalkeeping Diploma.  Scott plans on taking his USSF B, NSCAA Premier Diploma and UEFA license within the next 24 months.
 
Denny McCaughey:
Denny comes to KSA with a wealth of experience. Denny played professionally in the MLS, USL and NPSL and can boost a career that spanned over 10 years before an injury cut short his playing career. Denny will be taking over the U17 Boys Head Coaching position for the 2009 Spring season. Denny has coached with some of the most successful programs in Florida before moving her several months ago. Denny plans on taking his USSF B license in 2009.
 
Derrick Smith:
Derrick played for the Kings Professional team in 2005/2006 before moving to Minnesota to continue his professional playing career at a higher level. Derrick will be coming back to play for the Kings PDL team and Roby Stahl for 2009 and will also be Head Coaching the U11 Boys team. Derrick plans on taking his USSF B license in 2009.
 
Angie Scarlato:
Angie will be joining KSA as a trainer after coaching for the last several years at CFA. Angie played 4 years of college ball at Xavier University and plans on head coaching within KSA next Fall. Angie has also coached at the High School level. She will begin her coaching education in 2009 with KSA.
 
Becky Imhoff:
Becky currently plays semi professional soccer for Cleveland in the W-league after captaining the University of Cincinnati Women’s Soccer team during her 4 years as a player. Becky will be coaching our U15 Girls team for the upcoming spring season. Becky will begin her coaching education in 2009.
 
Mary Monaghan:
Mary comes to KSA after playing college soccer for Xavier University. Mary is currently finishing up her degree at Northern Kentucky University. Mary played for, and coached for the Pacesetters Soccer Club in Toledo before coming to the Tri-State area for school. Mary currently coaches at Boone County High School and will be taking over as Head Coach of our U8 Girls program. Mary will begin her coaching education in 2009.
 
Ben Williams:
Ben is currently coaching for Sycamore High School after graduating and playing for Wilmington College. Ben will be Head Coaching within our U14 Boys program. Ben will begin his coaching education in 2009.
 
Mike Hughes:
Mike is well known within the Northern Kentucky area, having coached High School sports for over 20 years. Mike is currently the Boone County High School Head Coach and will be coaching with our U14 Girls age group. Mike will begin his coaching education in 2009.
 
Steve Lorenz:
Steve currently holds a USSF National D coaching license along with a NCSAA Regional Diploma. Steve plans on taking his USSF C license in 2009. Steve coached within Northern Kentucky United before they became KSA and is currently the Head Coach of St. Henry District High School after being involved in High School Soccer for over 5 years. Steve is also an ODP coach. Steve will be coaching with our U14 Girls Program.
 
Coaching education remains one of the main areas of focus for KSA. By the end of 2009 all coaches within KSA will be E or D licensed. Continued leadership from our staff and parent coaches is essential in the development of our program.
 
KSA currently provides its players with:
4 current USSF A license coaches (4 more pending)
7 current USSF B license coaches (5 more pending)
3 current USSF C license coaches (3 more pending)
8 current USSF National Youth license coaches
2 current UEFA B license coaches
2 current NSCAA Premier license coaches (2 more pending)
3 current NSCAA Advanced National license coaches
