Start to Finish, KSA U13Girls Where Perfect!
TAMPA, Fla. – The Kings Soccer Academy U13 Girls Super Y-League Team went a perfect 10-0-0 through the regular season and a more impressive 5-0-0 through the post season, to capture the teams and the programs first National Title.
The Kings entered the championship match against Washington Freedom with a bitter sweet taste in their mouth, having been to the finals the previous year and not taking home the title. This time things would be different, jumping out to an early 1-0 lead in the first half, the Kings were able to add an additional goal midway through the 2nd half to seal the win and wrap up a tremendous season.
“I am so proud of this team,” Head Coach Jon Pickup said. “There was a target on our back after going undefeated during the regular season and the girls stepped up to the challenge.”
