Kings Tie in Home Finale
The Kings closed out the home portion of the 2008 season with a 2-2 tie versus the West Virginia Chaos. The visitors scored first in the 24th minute following a corner kick when a shot trickled through Kings goalkeeper Matt Williams hands and into the goal. The Kings quickly responded when, for the second game in a row, striker Branden Stelmak was brought down inside the penalty box for a PK. Stelmak again converted for the 1-1 tie.

Eleven minutes into the second half, the Kings went up 2-1 when Tony Capuro sent a pass from the right side finding Branden Stelmak's head as he collided with teammate Andy Dimbi and a Chaos defender yet scored a great goal. As a result, both the Kings players had to leave the game injured. The Chaos scored in injury time at the 91st minute to secure the tie.

The Kings had several chances to pad the lead; most notably a 40 yard Elhadji Deign shot the Chaos goalkeeper barely got a fingertip to.  Jimmy Cummings and Kyle Long had opportunities hit high or wide.  The Chaos scored in injury time (7 minutes) at the 91st minute to secure the tie.

The Kings close out the inaugural PDL season in Toronto on Wednesday.
