Joe Mehl

Joe moves into his new role after coaching within the Kings since the merger in June 2008. Joe is well known throughout the area for his achievements at Mariemont High School, having been named Coach of the Year on two separate occasions. Joe joins KSA with an impressive resume. He was just recently inducted into the Oakland University Athletic Hall of Honor as a member of the 1982 team, which appeared in the NCAA Final Four Championship. Joe also serves as the Director of Coaching for Cincinnnati SAY soccer program.
Roby Stahl

Roby is one of the most experienced coaches in the US. He has played and coached professionally overseas and has been involved at the National Level within the US as a player and coach at numerous levels. Roby brings an Elite approach to coaching and has been named Head Coach of the 2008 PDL team within the Kings Soccer Academy. Some of Roby’s former players include Michelle Akers, Julie Foudy and Kristin Lilly of the US Women’s National Team, with many other players now playing overseas or within the MLS. Roby is the former Director of Coaching for Ohio South.

Jon was instrumental in the formation of the Kings Soccer Academy and brings a wealth of experience to the program. Jon has spent the last 17 years playing professionally around the world in England, Northern Ireland, China and the US. In 2004 Jon was named the Head Coach of the Cincinnati Kings Men’s Professional team, capping off a great season in 2006 when he was named USL’s Head Coach of the Year. Since moving to Cincinnati in 1998 Jon has been very active within the soccer community both on and off the field.
Kevin McCloskey
Technical Director, U15-U18 Male & Female Program, Super-20 Men's Head Coach
Kevin brings a weatlh of collegiate experience to the KSA, having served as the men’s assistant coach for Xavier University and Northern Kentucky University. Prior to the years spent as a college coach, Kevin played 4 years at Rio Grande where he led the squad to three AMC Conference Championships and two appearances in the NAIA National Tournament.
Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise from Rio Grande and his master’s in education from Urbana.
